This week we have been looking at breathing and how it can effect us when we start to get stressed. We looked and practiced the Five Finger technique, https://copingskillsforkids.com/blog/deep-breathing-with-your-hand, from by way of a warm up to get the group to experience deep breathing and in turn telling the body to stay relaxed. Students on the whole found this to be a positive experience. I have certainly been using it from time to time throughout the week.

It Certainly looks a challenge.

Without any Prompting Ruth, Andrew, Rachel, Fiona and Ben perform a Mantra before experimenting with the given props.

The Aim of this improv is to have fun but also to visualise 'Deep Breathing' making it potentially useful to perform to an audience .
